MOSS Inert Gas Generator (Economiser Section)
Der MOSS Inert Gas Generator ist ein kombiniertes System zur Erzeugung von Inertgas und zur Wärmerückgewinnung auf Tankern. Ursprünglich von Moss Maritime (Norwegen) entwickelt, über Hamworthy zu Wärtsilä gekommen. Auf Tankern aller Größen als Teil des Cargo-Safety-Systems installiert. Der Wärmetauscher-Anteil (Economiser) nutzt die Abgaswärme der IGG-Verbrennungskammer.
