Liebherr portal cranes are space-saving and highly efficient handling solutions that are manufactured according to the individual requirements of the quay. With its portal crane models, Liebherr offers a unique combination of tested Liebherr harbour crane technology and space-saving assembly on rail-mounted portals. The model series of Liebherr portal slewing cranes (LPS) as well as the travelling cargo cranes (TCC) are suitable not only for handling bulk goods and cargo but also containers in sea and inland harbours. Portal slewing cranes from Liebherr are space-spacing material handling equipment that adapts to the conditions of each terminal. The combination of versatile harbour crane technology and a portal undercarriage make it effective harbour equipment. The new LPS 420 E is the latest extension of the Liebherr mobile harbour crane product range. The newly designed machine is a purely electric driven portal crane. All crane movements like luffing, hoisting, slewing and travelling are done by electric motors.
