Marine Thermal Oil Heater
Sunrod (jetzt Wärtsilä) produziert Thermalöl-Heizer als Alternative zu Dampfkesseln auf Schiffen, wo kein Dampf benötigt wird, aber Wärme für Tanker-Ladungsheizung, HFO-Vorwärmung oder Cargo-Temperature-Maintenance. Thermalöl-Systeme haben keinen Kesseldruck (atmosphärisch) und keine Wasseraufbereitung — dafür aber das Risiko der Öl-Degradation und Verkokung.
