What we do
- Turning, milling, drilling and grinding of single parts and small series
- Replacement parts for obsolete or unavailable components, made from drawing, sample or measurement
- Material chosen together with you: steel, stainless steel, bronze and other materials as agreed
- Finish machining after repair, for example after build-up welding or metal spraying
- Drawings as PDF, DWG, DXF or STEP. Without a drawing, photos with a ruler and the main dimensions are enough to start
OceanSphere organises the job and stays your single point of contact. The work itself is carried out together with vetted partner companies and experienced service engineers.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a drawing?
No. A drawing is ideal, but a sample or photos with a ruler and the main dimensions are enough to start. We clarify missing details with you.
What quantities do you make?
Single pieces and small series. Large production runs are not the focus.
Where are the parts made?
In Germany, by workshops in our network, via OceanSphere Fabrication.
Can you supply material certificates?
State in the request which certificates you need. We clarify per job whether and how they can be provided.
Can you copy a worn part?
Yes, by measurement of the part. For complex shapes the part can be 3D scanned first (see 3D printing and reverse engineering).
Is machining on site possible?
Our machining takes place in workshops. If you need work on a machine on site, describe it in the request and we check whether a partner can do it.
Is a request binding?
No. A request is not an order. We check it personally and come back by e-mail with an offer or with questions. Orders are subject to our General Terms of Business.
